Accessible Adventures for Everyone
Glengoyne Lodge is a modern, purpose-built lodge at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre, designed to make residential stays possible for groups who are often excluded from traditional outdoor accommodation.
Originally built and recently redeveloped by the 77th Glasgow (Disabled) Scouts, the lodge was designed with accessibility, dignity and comfort at its core. We excited to be able to open up Glengoyne Lodge up for wider group bookings from charities, schools, community groups and organisations looking for inclusive accommodation in a safe outdoor setting.
Stay in Comfort at Glengoyne Lodge
This isn’t accessibility added on at the end. Glengoyne Lodge was redesigned from the ground up to support people with physical disabilities, additional support needs and more complex care requirements.
The ground floor of the lodge is fully accessible and laid out to be practical, spacious and easy to navigate, allowing groups to focus on enjoying their stay rather than managing barriers. Take a look at the building layout below:
Designed With Inclusion in Mind
From adaptable activity sessions to accessible facilities, we’re proud to champion inclusive adventure. Our team works closely with leaders, carers, and families to understand the needs of each group and shape an experience that is safe, supportive, and full of fun. With Glengoyne Lodge as your base, you can explore freely, take on new challenges, and enjoy a residential stay where barriers are reduced and opportunities grow.
